In addition to learning how to run the EOS P385 SLS machine, I have learned to run older 3D Systems SLA250 machines, compression molds, and a little urethane casting. I am getting ready to learn to operate the SONY 9000D SLA machine; amazing build envelope and very touchy. I am also embarking on a rather complicated Warhammer 40K diorama, of which about 90% will be scratch-built.

As I have already made myself comfortable in using FDM, I wanted to do something in Reverse engineering method. I scanned a duck toy in my lab and created surface using rapidform. This took almost 5 hours for me to do this. Though its easy as this is my first attempt it took some time for me. But i enjoyed doing it. Now my model is ready to give it to FDM. People who are doing research using

I recently started work at a prototype shop in Menlo Park, Ca. called Protoypes Plus. It is a dream job, I am learning about: SLA, SLS, compression molds, casting, and finising. I spend about half my day building models.
We have the Sony 9000d prototype machine. Awesome. That's all I can say about it.
The SLS is amazing, 'living' parts right out of the machine. Make a hinge, take it out, and put
