Stratasys FDM 3000 2 Years, 10 Months ago
Hello all,

Does anyone use the Stratasys FDM 3000 molder? I work for a company that laid off a lot of people and I've been tasked to learn how to use our modeler, the FDM 3000. I've read the manual, and am beginning to try to run a calibration. However, I can not get the foam base to move up close enough to the tips. I can raise it to approximately 1/2" below the tips but it stops there and I think I need to get it up to the tips.

Am I missing something.

Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Gil

I don't know about the 3000 machine. I just purchased a used genisys xs, which appears to work, but I need a supply source of wafers and casset.
